Description
Wolfgang Walkensteiner born in Carinthia, based in Vienna will open the exhibition here in Graz in combination with a exhibition at the Leobner Kunsthaus. In his paintings he shows objects and things that we would define as physically real. These objects do not possess any comprehensible function, they seem to have the simple function of being. By using intensive and monochromatic colours, he gives the objects in his paintings a plastic form, lifting the shape from its cold backround.
